Off Topic, but then isn't everything here?

I have been informed by my employer that during the evening of 12/31/99 and the morning of 1/1/00 I must be in the office, at my workstation, in full battle mode. At such times that surround these hours but that extend beyond the time I can reasonably stay awake, I need to be wired or unwired to a phone, pager, laptop and coffee.

Is anyone else in such a situation? And won't this be one HELL of a night to remember?
