Subject: Mobile Applications Developer Tool Kit

Today we are excited to announce yet another new tool that will allow you to
develop applications for the wireless world.

Mobile Applications Developer Tool Kit or MADK will allow developers to create
both Wireless Markup Language (WML) and Voice Markup Language (VoxML™) applications
with one development tool. The Mobile-ADK builds on Motorola's voice programming
technology (VoxML™) and introduces data capability based on the Wireless Application
Protocol (WAP) standard and Wireless Markup Language (WML) for mobile data.

The Mobile-ADK will enable developers to author and simulate WML 1.1 applications
using either a WAP Stack or an HTTP connection. It includes a WML 1.1 compiler
and interpreter for simulation of local and/or server-based WAP applications;
HTTP connectivity for simulating VoxML applications; and Automatic Speech Recognition
and Text-To-Speech Synthesis Engines. The integrated environment allows developers
to author and debug WML, WMLscript, and VoxML code. The Mobile-ADK runs on Microsoft
Windows 95 and NT.

The Mobile-ADK controlled beta period will begin the week of October 4, 1999
and will expand through out October. By November 1, 1999 the Mobile-ADK will
be available for download from www.motorola.com/spin, Motorola Developer Website
for Smart and Connected Products. Look for the Mobile-ADK information and download
under the Mobile Internet eXchange community. You will find Motorola's official
press release, about its Mobile Applications Development Kit, by following the
