Happy MINING, indeed, Robert! I'm exhausted but one very happy miner tonight. Uncovered 3 tunnels into one hill we didn't know were there today at Valentine's Blue Bucket Gold Diggings Mine. Man, that stuff in those tunnerls is looking rich. Erosion had covered their entrances from decades ago, Roy explained. All tunnels were quite obviously hand dug and the seams were richer'n Buffet looking!(grin)
We were all already exhilarated at the public response this weekend from those who pre-registered as well as those who wrote in on the net to participate. (Internet miners gold is being mailed out PRIORITY with Tracking Certs tomorrow, so Pat tells me! And I was privileged to do final clean-up and gold weighing distribution all 4 days! WHAT A BUZZ handling all that raw gold, straight from the trommel sluice!!! WHEEEEEEEE~!~!~!~!~!)
And you know what was almost more fun than handing everyone their bottle of gold that was on site? HANDING THEM DAMN NEAR ONE OUNCE bags of Black Sands that were running better than an addition 1/2 of gold. EVERYONE WAS TICKLED, Well, TICKLED GOLD. They couldn't believe they got such a huge % return for their $100 bucks for a few hours work! And we did the work, right there in front of their noses! Different guys and gals were even helping me dry the cons pre-sorting and cleaning, before they were wheeled.
My gold wheel had never seen so much gold in it at one time since I bought it last October in a goldshow in Monroe, Washington.
The huge trommel run event opened for the first time to both ON-SITE as well as INTERNET WEBSITE guests this weekend. It was a steady stream of semi-truckers pulling in from all over the nation, besides vans, and campers, and passenger cars, and phones ringing off the frigging walls from those who wanted in Thursday until the last one left just before sundown tonight!!!!!!
Can you imagine how much fun it was being knee deep in goldbugs for 4 days! Man, OH MAN! What a terrific feeling to be among those who NOT ONLY understand the allure of the yellow, but are only TOOOOO happy to talk about the RISING price of gold t'boot.
Excellent timing, for our event, eh????
I'll be taking photos of some of the tunnel entrances and sticking them up on the website ( oregontrail.net ) in the next few days. Some danger of landslides right now as they were just uncovered today by the big 270 Cat track-hoe.
Stay tuned as we pull out more of the yellow about the same time as the CB's TURN YELLOW from squeezing bilirubin out of lilly livered goldmines waaaaaay in over their heads in this write 2 calls for every long put 'deriv's slam dunk' that is unravelling.
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHAW and keep'em coming, Robert.
