What's your take on the upcoming Rams>ATL game? Buchanan said Bruce was the most difficult wideout he's had to cover.
Divisonal/Conference Update:
After 5 weeks, the best division by far is the AFC East, with a 14-9 record, or .609. The NFC Central and AFC West are tied for second at 12-11 or .522. This is about how it went for all of last season.
The NFC East has moved up from being the worst division to being the 4th best division at this point, sitting at 11-12 or .477. The NFC West is at 10-12/.455 and the AFC Central is at 13-17/.433.
In the inter-conference play the AFC has an edge at 39-37 versus 33-35 for the NFC.
It looks like last year a bit; the NFC has the best record, but the AFC has more teams in the middle. After you set aside the 4-0 Rams, the AFC has 4 teams at each 4-1 and 3-1. The NFC has only 3 3-1 teams, and no 4-1 teams.
So the NFC has the star team while the AFC has more overall power. It's interesting to see the NFC is East is "Least" no longer; at "least" for the time being.

People have to be wondering what the Jets were thinking when they let Foley go. He's 1-0 as a starter for the Seahawks with a QB rating of over 100, and engineered about 350 yards of second half offense in that road win over the Bears. Holmgren has done some great stuff at GM; the Galloway situation notwithstanding.
I did not know the Jags had such an impressive defense. Coughlin was playing percentages just like the announcers said. By the end of the game Keyshon was completely frustrated. Mirer has this bad habit of throwing a number of passes, each about .3 seconds late, or high, or into deadly double and triple coverage. He still doesn't "see the field," and that element which made him so dangerous as a rookie at Seattle - the scramble for yardage - seems missing from his game. I don't know if Parcells is telling him never to run, but sometimes a lane opens up and he never takes it. He is better than he was at Seattle, but still not very good at this level. I would take the Seahawks' backup over Mirer any day.
