Hey Harold, I checked that writing on the ccee thread and to be honest with you, I don't know if that software will be a competitor to Sedona Geoservices'. The uniqueness of the technology driving Sedona is that is an open system (meaning it can recieve various inputs from various architectures simultaneously) and objectionally relate them rather than placing them (for want of a better term) side by side. The software CREATES the Geographic Information System as opposed to BEING the Geographic Information System. The applications for this (broadly referenced) technology are stunning. When you present the universality of SedonaTM's open architecture, the potential for applications is truly mind boggling. How does one spell: boggle...boggel?...bogel?...bahgul?... besides this thread, there is a host of information at esri.com Check that out. You may find yourself totally fascinated by the potential.
