Morgan, your post #4831 is well appreciated. One adjunct question might be: is there reason for a class-action shareholder suit? While the thought of suing is abhorrent, in this case the actions of NITE management remind me somewhat of the WMI actions less than six months ago. The backbone of NITE future earnings would seem to be the small investor who is either day or swing trading. While understandably NITE is taking care of the venture capital partners and the institutional investors, it seems that "dissing" the small investor base would not be favorable to longer-term earnings potential.
Many have had very painful margin calls recently, based on the downward slide of NITE. Those traders, having been badly burned, will think twice about coming back into NITE.
How do you and others feel about this?
