Ike, i don't trust the official ABX position one bit...as big a hedger as they are, they can not possibly have come out of a $70 price rise in gold unscathed. actually, i believe very few of the denials coming from various sources w/regards to losses resulting from short positions in gold. most players are probably hoping for a retrace to cover their exposure...it might not happen.
