My best guess is that GCDV gave the stock to LU as part of the deal to get equipment. GCDV is most likely not a good credit risk, so lenders need equity sweeteners. So, LU will lease equipment to GCDV, and get an equity stake for free. Happens all the time in the business....like Comdisco and CYOE. The LU news is a non event in my book
