Pen Interconnect Awarded Significant New Contract
Allows InCirT Technology To Expand Its Product Offering
IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 12, 1999--Pen Interconnect Inc. (OTC BB:PENC) Tuesday announced that its Irvine division, InCirT Technology, has been awarded a significant contract and manufacturing agreement by a major international computer manufacturer.
The contract calls for Pen Interconnect to perform work for the company on an ongoing basis. ``Pen Interconnect\022s business is strong and its backlog is at an all-time high,' said Stephen J. Fryer, president & CEO.
The agreement is for InCirT Technology to perform repair and upgrade on printed circuit boards for one of the computer company's major product lines. ``This will also allow InCirT Technology to become a vendor for other OEM's in the printed circuit board repair and upgrade business,' said Mehrdad Mobasseri, President of InCirT Technology.
InCirT Technology has done considerable work for this company in the past, including being responsible for end-of-life upgrade and support on several of their products, ``We are delighted to again be in a manufacturing relationship with them,' Mobasseri said.
