I have received three calls today, one yesterday, from Geneva on various G* phones. ERICY phone sounds great. It is still preproduction phone though. Look for true production models by end of year. Telit model is just a notch below the other two phones in quality of signal, but all three are many degrees better than an Iridium phone. The conversation on the ERICY phone was over 20 minutes--absolutely no sign of any handoff problems, breakup, etc. There is the very slightest perceptible delay, but I am pretty critical. The car phone using a handsfree mike was excellent. All in all, very pleased with the technology. Now, let's see those subscribers!
