Hi Patroller, One of the things that convinced me to participate in our capital markets is that investing does have a higher morality than almost all business ventures. In almost any business activity there is, someone must lose an order for the competition to get an order.

In investing, NOBODY has to LOSE money just because someone else MADE money! It's also what makes the capital markets different from pure gambling. State lotteries don't claim to be so moral.

In JBL's case, we're investing in what we perceive to be a good company performing well in a good market while participating in a general manufacturing trend that's likely to continue for some time. It doesn't mean that something might not change, but that we're anticipating greater reward than risk!

I think people would have been hard pressed to have lost money investing in JBL over the last two years

unless they were very short sighted. Again, nobody had to lose money just because we made some.

Best regards, Tom
