So you refuse to admit the duality of scripture. How about going to any number of the sites which can show you point blank the contrary aspects of it. Thou shalt not kill, but when you get to the promised land you'd better wipe everyone you meet off the face of the planet... HOW? love them to death? Was this just one option the Jews chose? What was meant by "these are my commandments, you are to follow them" versus, "these are my commandments, they only apply to Jews." ... or was that "for Jews"...
Or my favorite: I am God, this is Eden, I know you don't know what good or bad is yet, but don't be bad and eat of that tree or you will cease to exist. Well? why is ceasing to exist a bad thing... wait, what is bad? I don't know yet. Here goes nothing. gulp.
As for praying, I do that daily. And am quite clear on the fact that God works in ways I will not Logically fathom. I pray that you will not loose faith when you fail to see the logic in His works, as this is the downfall of so many. I do not condemn those who seek Him via other means, so long as they shall seek they shall find Him.
Vagueness is ok with me. It allows God the latitude He needs to work through me.
