The legislative movement to regulate daytrading is gathering steam in the Senate. Michigan demigod Levin is the leading democrat attempting to decide whether daytrading is a suitable activity for you. He is not on the Security/Finance Committee. He is on the governmental affairs committee, an unrelated area. He must be addressed. His email address is Senator@levin.senate.gov. However, I wouldn't bother sending him a message because you will only receive a bland email that says that he feels your pain and will continue to attempt to further the cause of the (auto) unions and socialized medicine.
Perhaps a call to Levin's office might cause him to back off, but don't count on it.

It is not all dark on capital hill, however. Phil Gramm (R) Tex, is the Senate Securities/Finance committee chair. He has pledged to fight for your interests.
