Mail.com is Selected by Ericsson as Official E-mail Provider for Telecom'99; Offers Web-based e-mail access to European conference attendees
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--October 12, 1999--Mail.com Inc., (Nasdaq: MAIL) a leading global provider of Internet messaging services, and Ericsson, (Nasdaq: ERICY) the worldwide telecom solutions provider and the official network services provider for the TIK's intranet at Telecom'99 and Interactive'99 intranet, chose Mail.com as their e-mail partner for the conference, which takes place in Geneva, Switzerland, October 11th through October 17th, 1999. A record-breaking quarter-of-a-million visitors are expected at this October's Telecom'99. With easy access to catalogue information, e-mail and the Internet, demand for e-mail will be even greater. - Over 50,000 e-mails are expected to be exchanged, and more than 20,000 accounts created, along with the big surge expected in the number of Internet searches undertaken and voice and video connections made over the eight-day event.
