Here's some food for thought if you're hungry or a curiosity if you're curious. Since around early 1998, I've bookmarked ten Year 2000 sites including this one. A cruise through past posts shows that around the end of 1998 and early 1999 there was very significant activity on those threads; often 20 or 30 posts per day on several of them. Now, less than three months before 01/01/2000 when one might think things were going to be hitting a feverish pitch, posting activity has slowed to a virtual trickle; maybe one or two total posts per day for the group of threads.

Anyone care to take a run at interpreting what this might mean?
