Guess I got your attention with that... don't at all mean to trash Q - but they are not yet quite synonymous with the entire wireless industry. They didn't get into "the middle of the stream" by accident and I appreciate the hard battles they fought against some aggressive players.

From a recent PM on the subject, here's more detail on my Q position.

I looked at Q a ways back - but as a result of my "real" work, I was required to go deeply into a different technology area and just didn't have the bandwidth to remain current.

As far as wireless being Dr. J's target - I did not mean to imply that Q got where it was by blind luck - that just does not happen in today's industry. They did nearly everything right. But you can get your surfboard out and still not catch the wave... One of the great VC investors once told me "success is when opportunity meets preparation" and there is no doubt that Q was both prepared and also helped push the opportunity.
