precisely... as has the mercy preached by other religions... the points are lost and war breaks out (usually to the benefit to the surviving church who claims moral/religious and whatever other seniority they can)

Why is there division in the Church(es)? If the word is not subject to Personal Interpretation there would be no question what it says and how to follow it, but there is. Divinely inspired, scribbled poorly by man's own hand is the Word of God. And all too many men take it upon themselves to figure out what is divine when the divine is all around us.
