Hi Judy, Sorry, I am a little late in replying. SMC thread is so quiet. Well, now that SOMEONE (I think INTC rates a "SOMEONE") has shown an interest...it will be interesting to see what happens to the price of SMSC stock. Over the past two years, it has seemed as if SMSC was right on the edge of making some significant earnings gains, but - if that has happened (maybe it did, but the gains were so insignificantly subtle, I didn't notice...) - never did. This may make the promises (i.e. "hopes") of such gains come true. We will see. In the meantime, maybe SMSC can crawl back to 15. Then...I wonder if we should keep it (hoping for more) or sell. As for substantive information, I am afraid I can't provide any... - John
