Mary and all: The whisper number nuts are at it again. Here are three sources I've seen today: biz.yahoo.com - "Bartlett also noted rumors in the options market that Intel's earnings might exceed the consensus forecast and reach $0.61-$0.62 per share." whispernumber.com - Whisper - 0.59, First Call Concensus - 0.57 fnews.yahoo.com - "Estimates call for Intel to earn $0.57 per share for the third quarter, a 28% increase over the year ago period. But the "whisper number" among Wall Street insiders is looking for $0.60 per share." So here are three different whisper numbers - what's anyone supposed to do with that? Adam
