William or anyone:

My neighbor, who teaches at Stanford Med School, has been out of biotech stocks. The last time we talked stocks a couple months ago, he thought 2000 would be biotech's year. He prefers not to recommend stocks, but will comment on ones I put forth. I'll have to pass your two picks by him. At any rate, I'm hesitant to invest in biotech, given my total ignorance of the field and the voluminous amount of research it would take to get up to speed.

Could you provide an overview of why it's now time to get into biotech?

Do you think biotech will perform as well over the next 12 months as the inets, specifically b2b and comm infrastructure?

tia, Rob
