It will be even more interesting to see what happens to the stock price! I'm a long-time lurker of this message thread but seldom post. I simply don't have the insights of the other members of this thread.

My stock club bought BHE about a year ago as our ECM stock. Basically, we liked it due to its relatively low p/e ratio compared to the other companies in the industry. We have done well with it and continue to hold the stock. I've done an SSG on it FWIW, but I don't have it handy. I think my SSG suggests the stock price should double within 5 years.

As a value-oriented investor, particularly a small-cap value-oriented investor, I have had a somewhat frustrating year. FWIW, I still like small-cap value and I still like BHE. The spread between the "chosen" and everything else seems particularly stretched. I can't understand it.
