I have two questions. The second I'm saving for later. The first is:

Amati's patent is the process of multiplexing such that noise is dealt with and data transmissions along twisted copper wiring can occur at the 6 Mbps in the "large pipe", phone/fax can simultaneously occur in the "small pipe", and a buffer channel is maintained in between the large and small pipes?
