so i should ask what measurement are you looking for,

I am looking for a better way to find out when a day trader needs to or doesn't need to buy more memory. For fast response a day trader needs to have all his applications he/she uses for trading loaded in memory and run with out swapping. One way to do this is to find out how much memory each program uses in megabytes, calculate the total memory required in megabytes for all of the programs and then compare that total with the amount of free memory in megabytes that is available when no programs are running.

I repeat what does "memory load" mean?
