Why Intel is a great innvestment IMO: Intel is one of the most profitable companies in the world In the last quarter they generated $3.7 Billion in profit before depreciation and taxes. They are in a fast growing near monopoly business They are entering into fast growing high margin business vis a vis communication chips (a la Broadcom), Web hosting etc Huge shortage in high end chip manufacturing capacity Lowest cost chip manufacturer in the business (60% gross margins and going up next Q).
