..."Then take that and buy stocks on margin. Don't laugh. I am sure there are some leveraging their homes..... in just this manner..." You know, I've heard this a few times, and it might be true somewhere, but I'm a mortgage broker and a branch manager for a mortgage brokerage business, and I haven't seen one case of it yet....not one. Just anecdotal evidence that I thought I'd throw in.
