AOL 5.0 Upgrade Failed for me!!

Read all about it.

Have it be known here and now, that I'm a whiz at software programming and Installation, however when upgrading from AOL 4.0 to 5.0 I encountered various problems.
The installation went fine (first clue that something might
be amiss), and upon rebooting the computer, tried to connect to AOL just as I always have.
Modem Connection went fine, calling the same numbers I've always done, but the local service stated that it couldn't find AOL for me. It also failed at various steps on the login process. There could be various reasons for this failure, but I was not impressed. How can this problem occur, when I've done nothing but upgraded to their latest version? Don't they test their software before releasing to the public?

Thinking I could get around this problem, I tried deinstalling the 5.0 version and rebooted. This left me
with my old 4.0 version. Guess what folks, it now doesn't
connect either.

I hope this hasn't happened to others, but try it if you
dare on your own systems. AOL has lost me as a customer
for good. Can't get on the internet with them anymore.
I'm moving to IBM IGN (Now AT&T's Internet Services),
which is the same one I use at work.

Piss on AOL, and I hope they lose many more customers.
