Hey RD,

Looks like a winner to me. I know my wife swears by Martha. Here's what Hoovers IPO Online has to say:

Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia (MSLO) is on a mission to "arouse a passion for everyday living." Led by chairman and CEO Martha Stewart, the company is active in publishing (magazine Martha Stewart Living, how-to books) and TV (syndicated series Martha Stewart Living, prime-time specials). MSLO also has branched into merchandising (it has retail partnerships with companies such as Kmart), offers a direct-mail catalog, and has sashayed into cyberspace with the marthastewart.com Web site. Martha Stewart's stake in MSLO gives her control over nearly 98% of the voting power. Time Inc. and Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers own about 20% and 5% of the firm, respectively. MSLO has filed to go public.

Also some performance info:

1998 Sales (mil.): $180.0
1-Yr. Sales Growth: 35.6%

1998 Net Inc. (mil.): $23.8
1-Yr. Net Inc. Growth: 70.9%

1998 Employees: 300
1-Yr. Employee Growth: 30.4%

Cheers, Rory.
