Bob, Perhaps I missed something but,I have not seen an explanation of the "original" sin in the Bible. I have always been led to believe that it was the eating of the forbidden fruit and being evicted out of Eden. If I am in error, please correct me. As some already know, I have not been a Christian for a great deal of time and, in some cases, am still learning.
I like your explanation of the handle. It reminds me of one of my favorite quotes from Abe Lincoln: " It is better to remain silent, and thought a fool, than to speak, and remove all doubt."
