Skipper, I don't beleive that Adam was first either. There is a creation of earth described in the bible that is millions of yrs. before Adam. The garden of Eden was the second creation of earth not the first. First there was an Eden the gardon of God.. but that was destroyed billions of yrs ago as scripture records. Question... you say you don't beleive in the bible. Have you read it all and studied it well. Or did your aunt martha or some pastor who didn't read it either give you what you think is the bible??? what's your answer?? be prepared now.If you say you have studied it. then why did you think that there is only Adam was first.... And be prepared for me to ask you... who Adam was married to first before Eve??
