I'm quite certain if he or any in his peanut-brained organization was upset by your posting, they would have written you personally, asking you to desist.
Furthermore, Robert is right...it does make paying customers mad. BUT...and this is a big but...as I recall when I was a COMP'D subscriber, BILL and John, and Chris ALWAYS ASKED that their stuff be posted wherever, since their purpose was both solicitation of donations and ego trips. The reason is just as Giraffe explained!
So, why not write and ask THEM what THEY would like for you to do.
I'd be willing to bet they would not only grant you permission, but also grant you permission to publish their Permission Granting REPLY to you as well, for the purpose of dissemination on this thread.
I'm quite certain in their mind that any re-posting after subscribers get 'first dibbies' is entirely allright with them.

The LAST THING I'd spend one scintilla of a nano-second being concerned with is whether or not you'll get sued by GATA. Hell, they haven't got two nickels to rub together since they started spouting off and I don't see any change approximately one year later.
