Asante is First Networking Equipment Company to Support Apple Computer's Mac OS 9
SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 13, 1999--Asante Technologies, Inc., (Nasdaq:ASNT.OB) is announcing its product and technical support for Apple Computer's recently announced operating system, Mac OS 9. Asante is the first networking equipment company to announce its support for the new operating system and is the leading vendor of networking equipment and peripherals for Apple Macintosh computers.
Mac OS 9 offers numerous features and benefits for small and home office users, publishing and education, key markets for both Apple and Asante. The operating system also contains features specifically to make Internet access easier, another important focus for Asante.
