B, you are misreading me. I did not say that you should listen to him because he is Black. I said you have to be impressed that, given the fact that finance is a a white man's game, and given the fact that technicians have to demonstrate significant quantitative and qualitative abilities, Favors has overcome much. BTW, I was disappointed to see your characterization of Maria B. as "pimping." Didn't seem like the sort of thing you would say. I take your substantive point; it's just the chosen verbal modality I found, well, not what I would have expected.
