Aus, I don't know what is true or false about any of those articles. The FT article didn't mention UMC by name, if I am recalling it correctly. The FT article may be BS. UMC may be blowing smoke. A call to the company may be in order. Or wait for the CC. I'm strongly tempted to buy now, just above 47. However, market mania keeps me from pulling the trigger. I don't want to commit ammo now, and watch the market take everything to absurd valuations, as it did last October. I recall only too vividly buying, e.g., ASYT at 12 only to watch it fall to 6 or so and change. Twelve was a great price, 6 was twice as good, and I didn't have the ammo to get much there.
This is the problem with trading, of course. First, you have to make the decision to sell. Then you have to make the decision of when to buy again. Too many decisions for my poor, aging brain. s. |
