Thanks for the references, especially the pointer to Meyer's speech.

I haven't been visiting the fed's website regularly in an attempt to reduce my time spent surfing. It's refreshing to hear a voice of sanity still coming out of that organisation. They've been few and far between since Alice Rivlin left.

One can never find a good woman when one really needs one. :-)
