BillG, my economic arguments about these moribund Japanese conglomerates producing encoder chips applies to chip foundries also.

Everytime I hear about a new foundry that company X will build or a smaller geometry that will be pioneered, I just kind of shrug it off. There are so many companies (TSM) that SPECIALIZE in making chips.

Point being, CUBE will ALWAYS have access to the best chip making technology and smallest geometries - efficient markets guarantee it.
