I was not trying to be insultive, only to bring some balance back to this thread. At times, it is long on soap opera and short on "sherlock holmes."
AND I AGREE WHOLEHEARTEDLY WITH YOUR LIAISON SUGGESTION!! In fact, after posting my message, I was thinking to myself that this would save a lot of wear and tear on us and GIFS. And through other efforts, definitive statements and positions (and lack thereof) from GIFS can be checked through other sources as much as possible.
Please understand, my comments were not assumptions about your skills or business experience. I too have been through a couple start-ups (though I do not put GIFS in the same position), and also agree that GIFS could do better, but all the same not everyone foresees time demands nor do everyone in a company handle those demands as well as they would like (in hindsight). Again, it sounds like GIFS need more people, yet is in near-term time squeeze and can't complete new hires for the next few weeks.
How do you suggest we move forward with encouraging a liaison with GIFS? Mark has had much input into this thread through his SAC. Jaime, though maybe medical school is a priority right now <bg>. I'm open to suggestions.
Now, this is a positive direction - and far more fun!
