<OT> I bought my first HP Deskjet 550 in 1991. I ran the hell out of it then passed it to my son. It still works like new with nary a glitch. Since then I bought two 855C (HP), one for my office and one for my home office. Never a problem. High use. I bought an EPSON for my daughter in 1997. I worked for about 3 months and quit for no apparent reason. It was constantly jamming and had driver problems before it died. I bought her the bottom of the line HP Deskjet color printer (can't remember the model) and she hasn't had a single problem with it. I have a BJC (Epson portable) that worked well for about 6 months, not it has quit for no apparent reason. No more Epson's for me. But that's my opinion.
