Tony I can not comment on Merced nor k7 because they are way too far ahead. As far as pii -- the chip may be good but not better than k6 at least not by much. Take into consideration that average selling price for k6 as per Kurlak is going to be $150 and that includes k6-300 and tell me that intel would really provide something better than that. That would mean that fully loaded k6-300 might be $1500 while pii-300 is going to be $3000-$4000. Is "intel inside" label worth additional 100%+ per system. You are a fair man when you want to be. Would you personally buy k6 or pii given the above. Regards -Albert ps I read the posts and it looks to me that k7 is expected at least a half a year earlier than Merced
