Well, I guess that instructions from the judge to the jury should be re-written to reflect the following:

"It's okay to have your verdict be influenced by whether or not you find the defendant either attractive or ugly. If she's ugly, well, she probably deserves to be punished, and if she's pretty, well, what the hell, let's give her another chance."

That okay with you, Bill? Make sense? After all, Cameron Diaz deserves more justice than some fat woman, right?
