This is a sad story of 20-year long-term slide - the trend is still intact. How much reorganization XRX has gone through and how many good people have gone for all those years? I will tell you one and the only one reason why this company is failing, very simple! Management has been locking themselves up in Rochester, NY forever. That's why! Management didn't realize its brilliant people invented GUI (Graphic User Interface), mouse, Ethernet, laser printer... in the West Coast technology center. XRX management not only gave away those technologies for nothing, but also let all the smart people leave XRX. It's hopeless and has nothing to do with sales force at all. If you still wouldn't buy my simple reason, I will give you another one - KODAK! Now, go figure.
