ZANY is a Paul Allen stock, has been hyped by the print and electronic media. Once a stock gets air under its wings and becomes the trading stock of the day all things are possible. Rumors of deals, a little potential website action, and a suggested worth many times more than present value provide all the ingredients for a big run. The MM's are all too happy to accommodate the action. Shorts and longs all over the place. IMO the party is over.
