You say you lurked here for a long time before posting, so you must have observed that, for the most part, we are a tight-knit friendly group of people who like to argue.

That's NOT what I observed.

My observation is that you are friendly with a group of people who agree with you.

And some who do not, including, I would point out, Edwarda.

That's your prerogative, but it's offensive when you insult people you disagree with.

Show me the insult in the post you responded to. I was needling Edwarda over our differing perceptions of an individual. We disagree but in a friendly way because she has not insulted me NOR taken it upon herself to lecture me.

The fact that you came here, and decided to post, suggests to me that you would like to try things a different way. In fact, things you have posted recently indicate that you have agreed to do so.

That's your assumption.

BTW, did I miss the election of the new thread sheriff?
