If you consider On2.com a broadband stock meaning that you need high bandwidth to really take advantage of what they deliver, then you have to look at what is the state of high-bandwidth installations such as DSL, Cable modems and wireless.

Sort of like the railroads. First you have to lay track and then you can deliver the cattle to market. So On2.com has the best cattle cars and they are filling them with fat cattle (superb video delivery system, the best) but the tracks only go to a limited number of customers.

Well the first to make money in the railroad business were the ones making the tracks. A company like Harmonic Data Sytems (HLIT) is one that is really making tracks. They can't keep up with demand for their high-bandwidth cable, satellite and wireless modems from customers like ATT. Their stock is up from 8 to 150 since January. Well On2.com should be the next in that food chain and unlike the railroads, where you would have to wait a long time to get those fat cattle to market, as soon as you get a high-bandwidth connection you are going to want to experience the video content of an On2.com and the time to market is the speed of light.
