Well I told you of my juicer? It is going back. I juiced and entire bag of Valencia oranges and got only 3 1/2 cups of juice. I even ran the pulp back through the juicer. That premium orange juice is a better deal than I thought it was. Molly didn't like the noise anyway. It is so noisy in her kindergarten class at free choice time she did not really hear the motor noise- but in our relatively quiet kitchen she decided it was too scary. So she wouldn't come anywhere near it. She instructed me I could call her when I had finished juicing and she would deign to drink some juice. Only she didn't like it very much. I guess it tasted better in class. AND I juiced a pineapple- only got about a cup of juice out of that. Something SERIOUSLY wrong there. It does taste a lot better fresh- but it really isn't worth 2.50 a cup. Especially when I have to clean up the juicer afterwards.

Ah well- another experiment.

I am going to keep the new Oneida stainless silverware Molly talked me into buying. We were down to only 6 teaspoons from our old set (we started with 12- we still HAVE 12 of everything else- WHERE do the teaspoons go? Do they run off with the missing socks?) Anyway- Molly found a very pretty set at Costco and she said we REALLY needed it. She also thought we needed a paint sprayer- but that sounded like too much work. Although it could be useful I suppose in the right hands (not mine).
