OT - Political Thoughts:

Pat Buchanan today will officially announce leaving the Republican Party for the Reform Party. If the Reform party endorses him, he should capture some double digit election returns. This will hurt George W. Bush. Gore is in trouble - Bradley's star is rising quickly.

Bottom line: Buchanan can't win. Wall Street will accept either Bush or Gore. I'm not so sure Wall Street is thrilled over Bradley because of his very liberal policies. I'm not so sure Wall Street is looking over its shoulder at next year's election as of yet, but if Bradley wins, I believe it may be a negative factor long-term for the market. JMHO.
