Trying to get the jump on Q3 earning estimates, I've been looking at Yahoo!s Q3. I'm not sure how Yahoo! accounts for payments to Messagemedia for web-based email services. My best guess is that they would fall under the category Cost of Revenues -- Yahoo! says it pays third parties from here. However, they could come under the category Sales and Marketing since this is used to build branding.

Yahoo! reports Q3 Cost of Rev of $26 million vs $14 million a year ago.
and Sales and Marketing costs of $16 million vs $8 million a year ago. Either way, there is some slack that provides a hint of earnings for Messagemedia.

Recall, one contract Messagemedia has with Yahoo! is with Yahoo!s Fusion Marketing Online (FMO)program #reply-10339047. Another is with Geocities #reply-9240815.

Anyway, any you gurus want to challenge me for the Venerable title better be getting your pencils sharpened although hip-shots and guestimates will probably be just as effective.
