Gary K - actually, you are mostly right. The insider sales thing I mentioned was a more of an "interesting" thing than a major point for me. One poster mentioned certain other stocks that declined, and I pointed out one interesting difference. Also, I contrasted this with Bezos of AMNZ - he is acutely aware of 'impressions', and a master-manipulator of image... Bezos has hardly sold any shares, and insider sales as % of total holdings are miniscule at AMZN vs NITE.
But you are right - it is a minor, and not particularly important issue in the big scheme of things - though investors look at things like that.
Anyhow, it is not my aim to "bag" on NITE - the stock will certainly recover, and even have a leap some day. As a trader, I might go long for a quick swing (as early as tomorrow for a nice technical bouce). I just wanted people to start looking a bit deeper into how management is doing, and to spark a discussion as to what it takes to really make the stock AND the *business* maximize its potential. The issue is a lot more subtle as I see it, than "NITE business model"... I think the model is fine/great - the problem lies elsewhere. However, it doesn't seem I have the skills to make my points clear, so I'll limit my posts here.
Good luck to all NITE shareholders!
