I disagree. AOL (and others) will be providing the application software, and it won't necessarily be Microsoft's. If it is Microsoft's, it won't bring the kind of revenues to which you're accustomed.

Nor will the backend be based on Microsoft's code.

Regardless of the outcome of the DOJ suit, the days of the monopoly are numbered.

All JMHO, of course.
