I have been getting email and PM about my comment about QCOM selling off the who company. Below is what I have been replying with.

<< It's matter of size. There is no way QCOM will want to bother with ASICs after awhile when they become a commodity biz., they will stop manufacturing of those. Then all the manufacturers will start to hate QCOM, much like RMBS is hated, so they will sell, tried of the fight, Dr. J. has fought the good fight, but how much more is in him and rest of the Q'sters now that they are realizing the dream and the millions? Who's to say, this IP model is new way of doing biz. I could be wrong about. I would like to know the average age of the design team. >>
