Healtheon and Web/md just announced a huge agreement with
News Corporation(Rupert Murdoch) to take their brands world
wide through all of their media properties. This will include tv,
radio, newspapers, magazines, and their internet properties.
This is going to be incredibly huge for the stock and the Web/md merger is finalized next week.

DJ News Corp/WebMD/Healtheon-2: Includes Web, Cable TV Svcs

NEW YORK (Dow Jones)--News Corp. (NWS), WebMD Inc. and Healtheon Corp. (HLTH) signed a
non-binding letter of intent to develop worldwide media and branding services, an
international multimedia joint venture involving the Internet, and cable television
health and fitness services in the U.S. market.
Terms weren't disclosed.
As reported, WebMD and Healtheon announced in May they agreed to merge to form
Healtheon/WebMD.
In a press release Thursday, News Corp. said the agreement is a step toward its goal
of targeting the trillion-dollar health-care industry.
Healtheon, Santa Clara, Calif., provides Internet-based, electronic-commerce services
that link doctors and consumers with healthcare institutions.
